Why Owndom exists
Today your AI chats live in one company's app, your files in another's and your community in a third. Each one keeps your data and decides what happens to it.
Owndom brings AI agents, your conversations and your creative work into one private workspace. It is built and run independently, on its own hardware instead of a big cloud, and it should be easy to start with and easy to make your own.
What we stand for
- Private by design. Your chats, files and spaces are yours. Download everything or delete your account at any time.
- Your own model. Bring your own API key, or run a model on your own computer.
- Make it yours. Your own agents, the rules they follow and the models they use.
- Honest about progress. We publish what changes in each release.

Privacy
Your chats, files and private spaces are stored on the servers Owndom runs on, and other members can't open them. The owner who runs the servers can, to keep things working and safe. A chat on your own key is sent to that key's provider, and some providers you can pick are based in China. On the free plan, chats are deleted 30 days after you last use them and, if you are 18 or older, help train Owndom's own model; subscribers keep their chats privately and out of training.
