• A new Network page shows which companies your devices and apps talk to, and marks the ones that collect data about people
• Your server is watched all day — who it talks to and how much, never the contents

Local stays local

• A chat on a model that runs at home never switches to an online model by itself, and neither do the helpers it starts
• Web searches go through Owndom's own search service only
• Fewer outside services hear from Owndom's own apps: usage reporting is switched off

Steadier while Owndom updates, and ready for more people

• An update no longer interrupts your goals: one it paused carries on by itself a moment later
• A message you send while a reply is finishing during an update waits for that reply instead of starting a second one beside it
• Approve and Deny work from a notification or the chat even while Owndom is updating
• Your phone notification choices for friend requests and direct messages are now saved

Faster pages and room for many more people at once

• The app's files now stay in your browser after the first visit and arrive compressed, so pages open faster
• Owndom can keep many more people connected at the same time without errors
• New members no longer see an error on their first page load, and one slow page can no longer freeze everyone else's

Owndom for Android

• Members can download the Owndom app for Android (7.0 or newer) from the Download page: it opens full screen, keeps you signed in and sends notifications

Owndom for Linux

• The desktop app now comes for 64-bit Linux too: a .deb for Ubuntu, Debian and Mint, or an AppImage for most other distributions
• The Windows and Linux apps download only for members who are signed in

The API reference and the Python package are back

• The Developers page lists every route you can call, who may call it and the key scope it needs
• Signed in, you can download the Owndom Python package again; like every API call, it needs an API key

Which plan would you pay for?

• Signing up asks which plan you would pay for ($8.35, $14.70 or $29.58 a month, or free). A survey only: nothing is charged
• Already a member? Answer, or change your answer, under Your profile → Plan & models

Free models for everything, and what's left on your keys

• Can't pay? Plan & models lists the providers that give free keys, with their limits and what they do with your data
• On a free key, chats, Design Studio and catch-ups start on a free model; at a limit, a chat moves to another of your keys
• Limits left: each key's limits, what's left and when it fills up again, per model, also in the chat's model menu
• Free pictures with a Cloudflare or NVIDIA key, and two new free providers: Cloudflare Workers AI and SambaNova

Help improve Owndom, your way

• Training copies keep your words, and AI replies only when the model's maker allows it
